Jonathan D. Martin
Jon has significant experience in the valuation of businesses and intangible assets, and several years of experience working in fields outside of business valuation. Much of his work has been for financial reporting purposes; however, he has performed numerous tax-related and other valuation assignments. Jonathan specializes in valuations of businesses and business interests, stock options, and various types of intangible assets including customer relationships, technology and know-how, trademarks and trade names, non-compete agreements, assembled workforce, and other forms of intellectual property, such as in-process research and development. The purposes of these valuations and financial advisory services include, in part, purchase price allocations (ASC 805), goodwill and asset impairment (ASC 350 and 360), stock compensation (ASC 718), corporate restructuring and tax planning, divestitures and others.
